About this role:

The Sr. Systems Programming Analyst is responsible for the evaluation, design, development, testing, operational maintenance, protection and support of UPS technology assets through the entire life cycle.

He/She contributes to the management of the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, performance, capacity tuning and support of UPS storage and back-up technology assets. This position executes analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and support of storage and back-up and recovery solutions. This position also, utilizes supplied specifications and standardized tools for work assignments of moderate risk, impact complexity and scope.

The Sr. Systems Programming Analyst will design, implement, maintain and support customize storage infrastructure to meet business requirements and to comply with established procedures.

He/She will develop customized storage management software installations to meet business requirements and to comply with established procedures. This position will draft design documentation and diagrams to meet business requirements as well as, design, build, test, implement and document storage and back-up and recovery solutions to meet business needs and to comply with established procedures.

He/She will design customized storage and back-up recovery environment to meet applications requirements as well as, conduct systems and requirements analysis to identify project milestones.

He/She will create task lists and cost and time estimates for project plan development as well as, oversee functions and tasks to meet project plan and quality review requirements. He/She will also, record, update, monitor and determine solutions for project deviations to ensure effective resolutions. This position will review project team accomplishments to assist with peer development and to provide project updates for management and customers. He/She will review and compile project issues to support effective resolutions as well as, monitor project activities to ensure I.T. governance, standards and policies compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Storage Area Networks, LAN Technologies, NAS (Network Attached Storage), Linux System Administration, Data Replication and Windows Operating System

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

About the Position: The role of Managed Services Hub Project Lead Position requires a strong leader, with sound business knowledge and judgment, supported by strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. The successful candidate will draw on a variety of prior experience, including direct client engagement, related functional experience in Payroll, HR, and/or benefits, technical and subject matter knowledge, and large, complex project management experience, in order to help the managed services teams succeed. The HR Systems Analyst works within the Managed Services Onboarding team and acts as a front line service subject matter expert for all payroll activities outside the scope of regular payroll processing. By working within this role you will ensure delivery of reliable and repeatable project resolution. Our goal is to ensure a smooth onboarding experience internally and for our customers. Responsibilities: * Performs a full range of customer onboarding activities within Ceridian's Managed Human Resources service offering. This includes but is not limited to: * Delivers within a multiple-project environment ensuring overall project success * Provides delivery leadership, support and mentoring in the project delivery area of responsibility * Consults to senior management on project related matters * Summarizes project status and identifies late or potentially late projects * Act as an ambassador for Managed within Ceridian, building relationships and processes that streamline and continuously improve the delivery of Managed Services * Collaborates in the design and implementation of productivity tools and aids (e.g. templates, etc) to increase efficiency * Prioritizes projects based on business criteria * Facilitates client and team meeting to ensure deliverables are being meet , and supports project planning sessions * Reviews project deliverables regularly for adherence to project management methodologies, standards and guidelines and makes recommendations as required * Keep up-to-date regarding legislation of the various courts for garnishees, educate and counsel employees of legislative standards and answer any inquiries related to such * Establish and maintain understanding of customer requirements and their changing needs to ensure services delivered as per Ceridian standard best practices (MSRR Managed Services Roles & Responsiblities) * Partner with and support Manager with service readiness and transition activities, as required, to ensure a positive transition experience for customers and service teams. * Assist Manager in the identification of employees' learning and development needs, and provide coaching and mentoring as required to support the achievement of individual and team productivity and quality targets. * Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of payroll, work processes, products, and tolls. May lead or coordinate initiatives within a team, function, or cross-functionally * Monitor the usage of required processes and tools in order to mitigate risk, improve quality and efficiency. * Participate in and/or facilitate customer and/or team meetings, as required. * Acts as a back up for Manager, as required.
