We're actively seeking a talented Sr. Systems Analyst II to join our CyberLife New Product Delivery team. This is a hybrid role.

As a Sr. Systems Analyst II, you'll move Pacific Life and your career forward by providing support to new life insurance product initiatives for our Consumer Markets Division (CMD). You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 5 Pacific Life employees and 30+ Contractors in the Corporate IT division. Your colleagues will include Sr. Systems Analysts and Sr. Software Developers located On-Shore/Off-Shore.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Lead a team of 6-8 offshore technical resources by introducing new life insurance products and enhancements to help Pacific Life be one of the top companies in the Affluent and Broad market areas.

  • Actively work in an Agile-Scrum environment where your expertise will guide the team in prioritizing backlog and implementing functionality short increments (3-4 months) instead of a 'big bang' approach.

  • Act as the liaison between Scrum Team and our internal Business partners to ensure the cost of implementing their requirements will outweigh the benefits received.

  • Anticipate project roadblocks, provide recommendations, and implement optimal solution. When faced with challenging modifications that may require system re-architecture, you will be working closely with SME Architects that will help find the best solution.

  • Engage with a positive mindset and "thinking-outside-the-box" approach to challenge "status-quo" and provide new ideas that can reduce project complexities and speed-to-market.

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS Computer Science or equivalent) or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of working experience on complex new product development or large project enhancements.

  • Excellent math skills to help understand complex algorithms documented in the product specifications.

  • Advanced Excel spreadsheets and MACROS working experience. Able to build complex mathematical functions and queries.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$118,800.00 - $145,200.00
