This VP level position within Credit Administration is responsible for Credit Administration systems such as Financial Spreading and Credit compliance system and its related data and analytics. The person in this role is responsible for resolving data quality challenges and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong program, project and analytical skills coupled with deep systems and data knowledge. Ideal candidates will have a background in credit data and systems.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Business System ownership of the credit compliance tracker application and the financial data repository Moody's Risk Analyst.

  • Develop business requirements for changes, test, and ensure acceptance criteria are met

  • Perform business admin functions such as modifying configuration

  • Testing and validating changes

  • Partner with IT and plan enhancements & releases.

  • Address any questions from external/internal audit related to the systems & data flows

  • Regularly apply advanced data analysis skills to understand detailed data flows between systems.

  • Work with IT partners within the SDLC framework and take proactive responsibility for clear business requirements as well as UAT.

  • Support projects such as CA site enhancements & MRA upgrade

  • Support the Reporting & dashboard requirements related to financial statements & credit compliance data.

  • Data Quality of the Client financials data & Credit compliance.

  • Support the Change management initiatives partnering with the Credit group's Business Planning & Support rep.

  • 7 years of managing multiple, complex and cross-functional business systems initiatives/projects with a broad knowledge of the financial services systems, data and analytics

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or quantitative discipline, such as economics, finance, mathematics or statistics

  • Strong understanding of credit origination, underwriting & credit approval.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills

  • Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, ownership, and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of banking products, financial statements, and credit underwriting desired

  • Familiarity with database tools and programming languages such as R, SQL, VBA, and Tableau is preferred

  • Strong technical skills with a business acumen and ability to work across the organization to develop solutions to complex problems

VIEW JOBS 10/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-02T00:00 Seeking a passionate and dynamic Senior Credit Reporting Analyst contractor to work on the Portfolio Analytics Reporting team. The candidate must demonstrate strong initiative, ownership, passion as well as excellent management, teamwork, and problem- solving skills. Reporting directly to the Manager of Portfolio Analytics, the Senior Credit Reporting Analyst will be responsible for assisting the reconciling of multiple data sources, streamlining the workflow where appropriate, and developing metrics to provide critical reporting to the bank's regulatory reporting cycles while monitoring & maintaining portfolio related information. Other responsibilities include implementing & coordinating processes to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) in addition to gathering, analyzing, and reporting data documenting internal control processes over financial reporting. In addition to SOX, the Senior Credit Reporting Analyst will assist with providing bank reconciliation metrics & statistics for the organization's accounting close process, with the expectation of appropriately communicating results to management. Requirements: * Drive relationship building, partnership and problem solving with key internal stakeholders * Help drive and facilitate handoff of projects to other groups within the organization, including effectively managing expectations, setting goals and holding them accountable * May also lead or support special projects (depending on candidate's background) related to business case development, internal ideation and/or change management * Lead or assist in the creation, consolidation, and enhancements to dashboards and reports for senior management. Develop and manage curated datasets on key business metrics and reporting * Plan & execute SOX testing and documentation activities with consistent quality * Take ownership for all assigned process areas, which includes obtaining a comprehensive understanding of all process activities and controls as well as related company policies and external accounting and reporting guidelines and act as a subject matter expert for each of these assigned process areas * Assess and make recommendations / suggestions regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and operations * Effectively formulate reporting issues to design and implement creative solutions through analytics and predictive modeling * Reconcile various data sources, to include normalization and processing of information to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information used for downstream reporting * Design and develop appropriate database objects and the processes used to populate those objects in order to provide data that is accurate, consistent, and relevant for business users * Develop and manage our current set of reporting tools and analytics infrastructure, seeking improvements where necessary * Utilize advanced analytics techniques to solve business problems. May regularly utilize, update, and adapt predictive modeling tools and/or focus on the application of tools * Provide support in making strategic data – related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing and reporting data #LI-CO1 Qualifications: * Required 3-5 years of business experience preferably in business intelligence and data management * 3 years of experience in large scale programs comprised of multiple projects, portfolios and/or programs * Strong communication and influencing skills with all levels of stakeholders, including executives * Demonstrated ability to understand big picture and/or piece things together and considers both long/short term impact of work to the whole, and can switch from detail to big picture seamlessly * Proactive in reaching out to stakeholders to manage expectations and "seed" solutions * Demonstrated ability to embrace and thrive in ambiguity and in an environment with shifting priorities * Drives creative, innovative ways to approach problems, processes and projects * Sets priorities under conditions of limited resources and competing demands * Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (multiple methods) * Strong understanding of financial audit and financial and operational internal control methodologies and terminology, as well as the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 * Experience with visual science / dashboard design principles a plus * Must be able to multi-task, work efficiently under tight deadlines and proactively track and report progress * Possess the ability to resolve data quality challenges and build infrastructure with their technical counterparts to transform data from disparate sources into dashboards that will be used for reporting * Experience with database design and data quality using SQL Server and Oracle preferred * Proven skills in system design and implementation of solutions for data analysis and reporting systems * Experience with various reporting platforms (e.g. Tableau, Business Objects) a plus * Education: BS or MS in Finance and/or MIS preferred Additional Information: We are unable to sponsor H1B Visa's and/or subcontract to Third Party Vendors.
