This VP level position within Credit Administration is responsible for Credit Administration systems such as Financial Spreading and Credit compliance system and its related data and analytics. The person in this role is responsible for resolving data quality challenges and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong program, project and analytical skills coupled with deep systems and data knowledge. Ideal candidates will have a background in credit data and systems.
Primary responsibilities include:
Business System ownership of the credit compliance tracker application and the financial data repository Moody's Risk Analyst.
Develop business requirements for changes, test, and ensure acceptance criteria are met
Perform business admin functions such as modifying configuration
Testing and validating changes
Partner with IT and plan enhancements & releases.
Address any questions from external/internal audit related to the systems & data flows
Regularly apply advanced data analysis skills to understand detailed data flows between systems.
Work with IT partners within the SDLC framework and take proactive responsibility for clear business requirements as well as UAT.
Support projects such as CA site enhancements & MRA upgrade
Support the Reporting & dashboard requirements related to financial statements & credit compliance data.
Data Quality of the Client financials data & Credit compliance.
Support the Change management initiatives partnering with the Credit group's Business Planning & Support rep.
7 years of managing multiple, complex and cross-functional business systems initiatives/projects with a broad knowledge of the financial services systems, data and analytics
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or quantitative discipline, such as economics, finance, mathematics or statistics
Strong understanding of credit origination, underwriting & credit approval.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills
Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, ownership, and attention to detail
Knowledge of banking products, financial statements, and credit underwriting desired
Familiarity with database tools and programming languages such as R, SQL, VBA, and Tableau is preferred
Strong technical skills with a business acumen and ability to work across the organization to develop solutions to complex problems
