Align Technology is looking for a detail-oriented high-performing Sr. Systems Analyst, CPQ, in the US office and who can work in a fast-paced multi-team agile environment. Responsibilities include gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and translating business requirements and functions into well-organized systems designs, user stories and actionable solutions. This role will be a strong contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. Sr. Business Analyst, Bit2win will provide leadership to achieve successful end-to-end customer and internal user experience for a set of projects to be delivered concurrently. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and software development teams during the Requirements and Planning, Design, Development, and Verification / Validation phases of a project. This role must develop expertise with end-to-end business processes, software applications and structure.

In this role, you will…

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with global and regional business stakeholders in Align and ensures that requirements are clear, understood, documented and approved by stakeholders.

  • Analyse business requirements followed by documentation of requirements and translate into user stories and corresponding actionable tasks along with acceptance criteria.

  • Analyze and evaluate CPQ application features and capabilities to meet business needs.

  • Design and configure CPQ solutions, including product, pricing, promotions, loyalty, quoting, and order management workflows.

  • Participate in CPQ application and end-to-end testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.

  • Assist in the integration of CPQ applications with other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, mobile apps, and e-commerce platforms.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on CPQ application functionalities.

  • Monitor CPQ application performance and recommend improvements or enhancements.

  • Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.

  • Develop partnership with business stakeholders and advocate for customer centric solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Lead efforts to identify areas of improvement in existing business process and applications. Recommend value added improvements.

  • Collaborate with application and technology experts regarding solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the application.

  • Present requirements, business process and architecture flows to business and IT stakeholders in easy-to-understand way

  • Escalate complex issues for further analysis and resolution as appropriate. Acts as a point of escalation for moderate to difficult problems.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the needed artifacts (i.e., functional requirements, business requirements document, use cases, GUI and screen and Interface designs).

  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

  • Partner with Product owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team and escalate key risks and issues that impede effectiveness of scrum team.

In this role, you'll need …

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements and design constraints.

  • Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field

  • Minimum of 8+ years information technology experience in a fast paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in CPQ applications.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and quote-to-cash cycles.

  • Experience with CPQ application configuration and customization.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with CPQ vendors and solutions, such as Conga, Bit2Win, is a plus.

  • Knowledge of integration patterns and platforms for CPQ solutions.

  • Exceptional prioritization, proficient problem analysis, process, and project management

  • Experience working in agile software development environment

  • Experience leading complex business requirement gathering sessions, documentation and translating into user stories

  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence and other project tracking tools

  • Excellent presentation skills, and an ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Primary Location Base Salary Range: $151,100 to $178,800 USD

Base salary ranges are a guideline used to determine appropriate pay. Placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable commission plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
