Position Overview: Responsible for the design, maintenance, and enhancement processes relating to the enterprise-wide software systems. Required to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software. May supervise computer programmers. Responsible for project organization and execution and will participate in design, vendor evaluation, implementation and management of multiple projects. This individual provides technical direction and supervision to analyst staff in the development and implementation of systems or in problem solving.

Reports to: Director, Enterprise Solutions
Directs Reports: Systems Analysts, other contract programmers
Prepares functional specifications and designs SAP front end application; builds detailed design specifications and reports for inter and intra company transactions
Analyzes business requirements, user issues to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; formulate and define scope and objective through research and fact finding to develop or modify highly integrated SAP applications
Develops and directs programming, system testing procedures, and documentation
Maintains and coordinates efforts towards cost center, profit center, internal orders and assets maintenance in SAP
Consults with hardware engineers and other staff to evaluate interface between hardware/software, operational/performance requirements of overall system
Provides application support and enhancements to existing applications; defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives
Provides technical training, guidance and resource support for end users and departmental staff
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field plus 5 years' experience or a Master's degree in a related field with 0-2 years' experience
Knowledge of information systems, including some familiarity with financial/business applications, sufficient to use and support on-line and to plan and perform medium to large scale computer projects
Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasks, setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects
Ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel throughout the network, frequently under deadline pressure
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data and information
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Integration experience a plus
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
Long periods sitting or being sedentary
Walking, occasional lifting up to 35lbs.
Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use
Finger agility for keyboarding
