Job Title: Systems Administrator II ONLY W2 WORKS USC LOCAL CANDIDATE REQUIRED Description:

Job Title: Systems Administrator II What You ll Do: Manage and maintain the organization s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and operating systems, to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

Functions: Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) Administer and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls Monitor system performance and availability, and optimize system resources as needed Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and applications Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding system and network issues Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 3-6 years of experience in systems administration or related roles Proficiency in server administration (Windows Server, Linux) Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment Preferred Skills: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management
