Job Summary/Basic Functions

A Senior Systems Administrator utilizes their skills and knowledge of server operating systems, network infrastructure, directory services, and messaging systems to execute assigned projects, provide excellent customer service, employ troubleshooting techniques and perform routine maintenance in response to identified needs and requests. Provides training for Systems Administrators as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Baccalaureate Degree Required.

Experience: Three years of related work experience required. Demonstrated experience in working knowledge of server operating systems and administration, directory services, networking administration, and messaging systems.

Job Duties:

• 45% - Design and implement assigned projects. - ()
• 25% - Respond to system outages by performing troubleshooting/triage/notification/resolution as required. This job does have on-call responsibilities. - ()
• 10% - Provide excellent customer service. - ()
• 5% - Execute tuning administration and performance optimization as required. - ()
• 5% - Perform routine maintenance. This work can occur outside normal business hours. - ()
• 5% - Serve as Team Lead for Systems Implementation Projects. - ()
• 5% - Support the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
