Perform network and systems administration for the Navy Military Sealift Command Afloat Network Operations Center, providing services including Active Directory and Exchange support and troubleshooting for MSC Mariners on more than 100 Navy MSC vessels and two MSC NOCs.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience, 8570 IAT Level III, Secret clearance.

Environment consists of mixed physical Windows 2003/2008 environment to hosting Exchange 2013 on virtual 2012R2 Hyper-V.

Support forest migration processes, convert ULAN and CLAN machines, and manage various environments from legacy Server 2003 forests to Server 2012 forests.

  • Managed a forest of more than 23 domains, performing troubleshooting of mail flow, Active Directory replication, and authentication as necessary.

  • Support GAL sync between separate forests by means of Microsoft MIM/FIM.

Submit Change Requests as needed to support Configuration Management and for Information Assurance (IA) approval.

  • Created and submit Exchange, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, SQL security policies as prompted by STIGs for both the classified and unclassified networks.

  • Develop, maintain, and published SOPs regarding security practices and operational procedures.

  • Support Windows systems with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to allow Cryptographic Log On (CLO) via tokens to access workstations, servers, and websites including Outlook Web Access.

  • Assess systems IA security posture using ACAS, SCAP scans, and manual STIG verifications. Mitigate, remediated and POAM vulnerabilities as necessary.

  • Manage and report assets in VRAM, continually uploading results from ACAS scans as prompted by remediation of vulnerabilities when required.

  • Maintain and support disaster recovery and business continuity procedures. Provide redundancy between NOCs for quick, seamless recovery of services in event of an outage.
