Sr. Sys Ops Administrator- TWO

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Sys Ops Administrator position with a client located in Akron, Ohio. Bachelor degree in an IT field is required. Will be responsible for deploying, managing, and operating various required systems on the given AWS platform. Will also be responsible for maintaining and managing their organizations' AWS infrastructure.

Pay/Salary Range $50hr-$60hr.

Sr. Sys Ops Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Manages and operates the AWS infrastructure, including provisioning and managing EC2 instances, configuring networking, managing storage, and setting up databases.

• Ensuring the smooth operation of systems and services running on AWS.

• Regularly backing up data.

• Managing the security of servers and network infrastructure.

• Automating software deployment on servers.

• Managing and configuring cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Monitoring server performance and troubleshooting issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in an IT field is required.

• Minimum Five years' related experience.

• Must be strong in Windows.

• Must have windows/linux split experience.

• Experience in SSL and secure communication requirements with TLS and SSL versioning knowledge.

• Must be willing to work flexible hours. Nights/weekends.

• AWS experience is required.

• Migration experience is required.

• DNS knowledge is a plus.
