About this opportunity

In this role, you will develop our new product introduction supply chain process, define roles and responsibilities and lead the organization in these activities. You will collaborate with Marketing and R&D groups on new product plans, provide visibility to the roadmap to the rest of the supply chain team and ensure projects fully integrate sourcing; planning, logistics and other product launch activities that supply chain activities leads. In addition, you will be responsible to lead the supply chain change control board to ensure perfect roll outs in international expansion efforts, process changes, mode changes, etc.

In this role, you will

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, and Engineering to develop product roadmaps and comprehensive project plans for all New Production Introduction (NPI) projects to meet their stated Cost, Quality, Schedule, Availability, and Customer Experience goals

  • Work with business stakeholders and process owners on new product introduction, life cycle management and end of life management

  • Act as a single point of contact between marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders and the global supply chain team on roadmap projects

  • Ensure on time and on budget execution of roadmap projects

  • Manage and drive execution of all project tasks under the responsibility of operations, i.e., ensure the appropriate supplier partners are identified, inventory plans are adequate to support launch, and logistics plan will ensure supply continuity and customer availability at launch

  • Utilize proven project management tools & techniques in the effort, including risk management, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structures, gap analysis, timing & action plans, and weekly project status reviews

  • Lead the supply chain change control board to ensure any significant supply chain change is vetted out through each of the major supply chain functions

In this role, you'll need

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent in years of experience)

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in new product introduction, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, operations engineering, continuous improvement, or innovation

  • Self-starter, demonstrated ability to develop a new process from the ground up

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication

  • presentation skills
  • Excellent business partner engagement skills, influencing will be a key component of this role

  • Ability to navigate effectively through a matrixed organization and handle multiple tasks and projects

  • Strong product affinity, process improvement, and results orientation

  • Global experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and/or Master Black Belt certification a plus
