The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the development of Sunnova's transactional and forecasting/planning processes within our MRP System- Rootstock. This individual will be required to become fully immersed in our ERP system and help proactively identify opportunities to improve both the accuracy and repeatability of our business processes within Rootstock.

The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Strategy & Transformation.

This individual will be required to evaluate our MRP system, tools and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional organization. This individual will be measured on the fit, form, and functionality of our MRP system. This individual will be expected to assist with Inventory & Operations Planning, Material Requirements Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning and Procurement & Logistics. The ideal candidate would be able to map various MRP process requirements and translate those into our MRP system. They should be able to clearly document business requirements and develop a process map of our current state and develop an implementation plan focused on closing data reliability and accuracy issues.

This role will also execute the sales and operations planning process for new homes division - leading the forecasting/material planning processes for the new homes solar business.

Additional requirements are to ensure all metrics, KPI dashboards and other business metrics are transparent and visible to the pertinent stakeholders within Sunnova.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience setting up Material and Resource Planning (MRP) modules (Oracle/SAP/Epicor/Infor/Microsoft)

  • Partner with supply chain team members and other key stakeholders to ensure transactional and data continuity is met from beginning to end.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise application technology team to develop process requirements and build roadmaps for critical reporting processes.

  • Provide consulting level support and guidance to improve user experience.

  • Develops business requirements and collaborates with IT to implement changes.

  • Conduct awareness training and document transactional best practices.

  • Drive enhancements within the ERP material management model.

  • Reviews Key Performance Indicators and actively works to improve performance.

  • Assists S&OP teams to identify, collect and analyze data.

  • Develop and maintain demand analytics along with forecasts for the new homes division based on historical install data, demand trends, and customer inputs.

  • Collaborate with operations and the business intelligence teams to gather demand information and incorporate it into planning parameters.

  • Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy and adjust as necessary to minimize forecast errors.

  • Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between forecasts and installation schedules.

  • Oversee data and planning around E&O materials in the field as well as in our 3PL locations.

  • Execute component transition plans for new item introductions (New Homes Division)

  • Provide project management and administrative oversight ensuring projects stay on time and deliver the intended value.

  • Ensure Master Data is timely and accurate. (Vendor records, inventory accuracy, planning factors - lead-time, MOQ's, service level, inventory goals, safety stock)

  • Strong appetite for learning, always keeping an eye out for adding skills, taking up different challenges within an organization to broaden skillet and diversify perspectives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business/Engineering/Operations.

  • 8+ Years of Experience in ERP system (Oracle/SAP/Epicor/Infor/Microsoft).

  • 5+ years in supply chain & expertise in MRP transactional details.

  • Extensive experience leading and implementing MRP tools and systems.

  • Experience with creating reports and developing KPI's.

  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical skills, and sound judgment.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Professional but passionate about pushing boundaries.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Business (MBA)

  • Experience of having implemented Salesforce/Rootstock is a definite advantage.

  • Experience managing monitoring and reporting on MRP transactional health.

  • Experience working with 3PL supply chain network
