The position supervises team of entry to intermediate level Service Contract & Warranty Administration professionals or supervisors of Technical / Business Support employees. Advises on contractual rights and obligations, guides employees on estimates reviews, and reviews the drafts of bids and other reports.
Supervises entry and intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of support employees that administer and provide for proper contract and warranty fulfillment to ensure accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Guides employees on how to review estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules in order to validate the accuracy, completeness and fulfillment of service contracts and product warranties.
Advises product development team members of contractual rights and obligations related to service contracts and product warranties to ensure that they comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Guides the development of summaries for management regarding data related to service contracts and warranties to ensure that service standards are met.
Supervises the preparation of reports for management outlining historical trends regarding service contracts and warranties.
Reviews draft bids prepared for management review and notes where updates are needed to ensure accuracy of the bids.
Reviews the draft of process specifications, progress reports and other reports for management review related to service contracts and product warranties and notes where updates are needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conducts contract, licensing, and warranty administration and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress and other reports.
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
Compiles and analyzes data.
Maintains historical information.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
