Responsibilities:

• Lead structural engineering projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct quality management reviews of structural designs, collaborating with team members to address any issues.
• Prepare estimates for cost and schedule of structural engineering services.
• Produce contract documents for construction projects, including plans and specifications.
• Conduct on-site investigations and evaluations of existing structures, generating comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with project team members to integrate requirements into structural designs.
• Mentor and train junior staff and entry-level engineers.
• Assist in the development and improvement of structural design standards and specifications.
• Make site visits during construction and operation phases as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment structure design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Expertise in building codes and standards for water treatment and industrial structures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD.
• Structural Engineer (SE) registration.
