The Strategic Business Analyst will provide insight into opportunities to improve the supply chain at the QVC Group. This role will identify opportunities and present them to executive leadership. This person will be a key agent of change during the evolution of the supply chain.
The Strategic Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying emerging trends and competitor strengths to drive change and improvement at QVC. This person will also move the transportation organization to become and industry leader in the accessibility and use of data to inform business decisions.
Job Description Details
Identify, evaluate and execute supply chain improvements across the QVC Group of companies that improve customer experience and reduce operating costs.
Lead the Transportation modelling of the supply chain network for all the QVC Group companies. Work with the analytical teams at each company to identify best practices to integrate and standardize the modelling. Identify and implement new technologies / techniques to improve the modelling.
Partner with IT organizations to continuously improve and consolidate transportation data sources and tools across the QVC Group.
Lead the assessment of the transportation networks of any acquired companies.
Research and present overviews of key competitor supply chains as well as new or different supply chains and how they apply to the QVC Group.
Work with the business units in the QVC Group to consistently improve S&H Charge policies for our customer
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or other quantitative field.
Preferred Education: MBA
5+ years in supply chain (10 years preferred) and finance with 3+ years in e-commerce
Depth of knowledge in the transportation industry, including subject matter expertise in: transportation network design, parcel shipping, tiered rate structures, injection methods, cross-border logistics, final mile delivery
Experience in Supply Chain design and optimization
Strong Excel skills
Strong SQL skills
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
