This position is for a key role within the Engineering team for Marvell's best in class ThunderX 64-bit ARMv8 Server Processor family. The ThunderX product family offers an unprecedented level of integration and industry leading SoC performance designed to accelerate adoption for Arm servers in mainstream cloud and high-performance computing deployments.
Marvell is disrupting the high-end server market by delivering high performance ARM processors to the industry. We are looking for motivated leaders to manage our physical design team as we expand the ARM processor product line into higher frequencies and lower process technologies.

Senior leadership position in the globals and circuits team
Vendor IP selection. Defining acceptance criteria, reviewing vendor specs, and Perform design reviews as needed
Define STA timing margins and derates to insure simulation results accurate predict silicon performance
Review foundry EMIR reliability formulas to insure appropriate usage by EDA tools
Estimate yields and SKU bins using foundry models, analyzing manufacturing sort data, and circuit analysis
Drive technology selection then guide circuit designs and micro architectural implementation to optimize performance per watt per dollar
Proven technical leadership, or prior management experience, in the physical design of a high performance FINFET product
Ability to collaborate across project disciplines (RTL, post silicon debug, marketing)
Extensive FINFET circuit design background in std cell library and memory design. Analog design knowledge a plus.
Define, document, and enable verification for electrical and process specs to be used by the implementation team
Working knowledge of the fundamental architectural concepts of state-of-the-art high performance processors
Experience in post silicon debug and characterization of high-speed processors
Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
Inherent sense of urgency and accountability.
Excellent people skills and proven leadership experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10- 15 years of related professional experience. Or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
