Position Title: Senior Staff, Employee Relations Professional

About the Role-You Will:

  • Work closely with HRBPs, legal, compliance, and employees at all levels to investigate, troubleshoot, and ensure a positive, inclusive, legal business environment for all Seagate employees

  • Utilize your knowledge on applicable employment laws to advise on a variety of employee relations issues, including advising on Seagate's policies, practices, how to address workplace issues, performance management, and coaching

  • Identify areas of concern within various organizations.

  • Investigate the factors that adversely affect the performance, morale, and productivity of Seagate employees.

  • Create programs designed to address concern areas prior to issues arising and to prevent future workplace issues/concerns.

  • Conduct surveys and gather information from employees on ways to improve the employee experience.

  • Prepare reports related to response time, employee concerns, implemented action plans and measured impact on the greater employee base.

  • Conduct interviews with various levels of employees to understand their concerns.

  • Counsel and advise employees on their concerns.

  • Evaluate work related employee problems by taking appropriate measures and designing action plans with HRBPs.

  • Inform and guide employees on company policies and the procedures that need to be followed to ensure their compliance.

Your Experience Includes:

  • Significant knowledge of Human Resources and Employee Relations best practices.

  • Experience in various investigative methods

  • Experience working in a Senior-level HR Capacity

  • Previous knowledge in an HR legal capacity

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience as an HRBP a plus

Location: Longmont, CO or Normandale, MN or Fremont, CA

Travel: 50%
