Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Identify opportunities to build innovative tools and solve unique operations problems in large and mission critical applications. Create scripts to automate operational tasks & incorporate the solutions into infrastructure.

Triage alerts and diagnose critical issues, manage implementation of changes. Develop CI/CD orchestration systems to reduce friction for software delivery to production.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Location: Westlake, TX

Salary: $139,464.00 to $160,800.00 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or related field and 60 months of experience in a related occupation; or a Master's degree and 36 months of experience.

Experience must include the following: Maintain production apps in load balancing environments with multiple enterprise interfaces, as well as enterprise message queues administration using IBM MQ, Kafka, and RabbitMQ; Perform deployments and migrations for portfolio accounting applications using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Harness, SALTSTACK, and PowerShell scripting; Automate tasks and jobs using Windows PowerShell and Salt stack using Python scripting; Maintain applications including installing or upgrading software on the servers using SALT; Maintain application health checks, alerts, fix errors, collaborate with DEV team and QA team to verify code fixes and changes before going to release. Approve changes to Production environment which can affect Schwab.com and Client reporting sites; Git and Bitbucket for source code version control; and Ansible playbooks to manage application configuration.
