I. General Summary: Coordinate the communication between TBJ and TBA regarding governmental automotive regulations concerning interior automotive parts and autonomous vehicles.
II. Essential Job Functions:
A. Interpret regulatory requirements and industry standards
B. Liaison between Toyota Boshoku America and Toyota Boshoku Japan regarding North American automotive product regulations.
C. Participate in networking activities with OESA, MEMA, US Chamber of Commerce and other organizations or groups to facilitate knowledge of future or changing automotive regulations.
D. Support the reporting structure throughout Toyota Boshoku America and Toyota Boshoku Japan to ensure engineering community's compliance with automotive product regulations.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Math or Science preferred

IV. Work Environment/Conditions:
Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.
Travel: Must be willing to travel 25% of the time.
V. Physical Demands:
Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds. The ability to travel by automobile and airplane are both required.
