Responsible for assistinig in and supporting large and complex projects for Canon Solutions America. Acts as a liaison between project teams and Canon Solutions America management to keep management informed of project status and any 'red flags' that may require management attention.
Tracks progress and reviews project tasks to attain project goals.
Prepares timely project progress updates, including Project phases/milestones. Proactively communicates project status to Canon Solutions America management. Provides management with ongoing and realistic assessments of project status, potential issues and red flags.
Utilizes change control processes as needed. Collects and documents lessons learned.
Utilizes company systems to ensure weekly status reports are continuously in view.
Coordinates and facilitate communication of project objectives to stakeholders by holding regular status meetings.
Leads both internal and external projects.
Assists in managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of all technology and innovation projects.
Responsible for the accuracy of all Project documentation and deliverables.
Manages implementation lifecycle.
Utilizes pre-existing systems to enhance project deliverables
Develops procedures for implementation of systems as needed.
Adheres to departmental policies, procedures.
5+ years related experience
Must be bilingual (Japanese/English) -Advanced MS Office Suite, Visio and project
Must be fluent in Japanese and understand Japanese business culture
Experience in coordinating and facilitating large IT projects
