The mission of the Professional Development & Organizational Effectiveness team within the HR Division is to build CME Group's people and organizational capabilities to successfully achieve key business objectives. The Sr. Specialist, Professional Development works alongside department leadership and CME line managers to execute HR talent strategies and priorities by helping design, implement and administer widely applicable and best in class learning and organizational effectiveness programs.
Continually develops own capabilities and knowledge base to conduct best practice research in areas such as learning & development trends, integrated talent management, organizational culture, and team effectiveness.
Leads the administration of several learning initiatives including the execution of the Core, Individual and People Leader, Organizational Leadership learning curricula; administer the CME Group Compliance training program; and maintain New Employee Orientation.
Provides direct oversight of CME Group's learning infrastructure, e.g., LMS, delivery technologies, and the department's Intranet Site.
Supports CME Group's high potential and career development programs by tracking, reporting and providing metrics, insights and analysis. Oversees and manages career development tools and technology.
Contributes to on-going process improvement of learning and other talent initiatives.
Skills & Software Requirements:
This role should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Cornerstone and Workday preferred.
Previous experience with talent management systems, e-learning tools such as articulate and captivate, and other HR technologies is a plus.
3-5+ years of relevant experience
