Job Summary:

The Sr. Specialist Employee Central is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of SuccessFactors Employee Central and OpenText Document Management but with the ability to flex across modules / platforms. Must have a strong focus on user experience - delivering simple, efficient technology solutions that ensure effective organization/position management throughout the organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of foundation and organizational objects in Employee Central.

  • Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of business rules including workflows.

  • Provide training and documentation of EC procedures and data standards.

  • Provide backup support for the LMS, Recruiting and Onboarding modules.

  • OpenText and ServiceNow configuration, maintenance and support.

  • Responsible for SuccessFactors & ServiceNow Release testing including partnering with outside testing team for validating and troubleshooting

  • Ability to identify cause/effect relationships, solve root-cause issues while eliminating nonvalue added activities.

  • Deliver technology that aligns business process and industry best standards utilizing existing software functionality and releases for continuous improvement.

  • Partner in the evaluation of new technology with System Architecture, HR Process Delivery and Information Services.

  • Collaborate with HR Consultants, HR Directors, HR Analytics, HR Centers of Excellence, Information Services, HR Process Delivery and key end users to clearly define requirements to facilitate system enhancements to existing technology and new system implementations.

  • Process leadership to assure technology projects deliver within Hershey standards for technology implementation, consulting with cross-functional business experts as needed.

  • Support technical documentation of project either by the creation of documents and/or reviewing third party documents, including necessary data.

  • Lead design and execution for organizational change including mergers & acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

  • 5+ years experience with HR technology platforms, systems, analytics and processes

  • Systems thinking mindset with a strong bias towards User Experience

  • Ability to manage confidential data

  • Easily partners with colleagues and can collaborate across the globe

  • Productively challenges existing conventions

  • Advanced analytical & creative problem solving skills

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills at all organizational levels

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR systems, analytics, processes and data

  • Clear understanding of organizational charts and related data elements

  • Proven process improvement and project management skills a plus

  • SuccessFactors Employee Central experience strongly desired and SAP HCM experience a plus

  • SAP Organization / Position Management experience strongly desired

  • Excellent MS Excel skills preferred

The position will be responsible for providing alerting & monitoring solutions while managing the complete lifecycle for the Splunk and Solarwinds environments. Major Duties/Responsibilities: * Drive deployments of Splunk & Solarwinds in an operational environment. * Act as a monitoring and alerting Subject Matter Expert for the enterprise. * Architect, design, support, and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered monitoring and alerting platforms. * Support Splunk & Solarwinds requests for Unix, Linux and Windows-based platforms. * Support project and operational requests for dashboards, reports, alerts and new data sources from multiple teams including security, server operations, client operations, network operations, plant operations, data science and business intelligence. * Perform data mining and analysis, using various query and reporting methods. * Solve/troubleshoot complex integration challenges and configuration issues. * Installation, upgrade, administration and patching of the monitoring and alerting environment. * Write technical documentation, operational procedures, systems documentation and Incident and problem communications and reporting. * Proactively identify new data sources to ensure compliance with security policies. * Take part in after-hours on-call rotation schedule and weekend activities as required. * Scripting skills to automate day to day tasks. * Maintain strategic architectural development roadmap. * Provide subject matter expertise and support to offshore teams. * Proactively work with customer teams to help people make the most of their data by improving upon capabilities that support their job role. * Evaluate the potential for alternative solutions to support desired use cases at a reduced cost. * Administer supporting infrastructure including syslog-ng, logrotate, Stash, Bamboo, ServiceNow and JIRA or propose other viable solutions. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: * 1-3 years of Splunk & Solarwinds Administration experience * Knowledge of Splunk and Solarwinds Clustering * Must have a demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills, aspiring to learn new functional, technical and business process areas as required. * Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, show initiative and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment. * Must be a team player and be comfortable working with geographically diverse teams. * Experience integrating multiple data streams and feeds from networks, infrastructure services, firewall & proxy server logs, business applications into a near, real-time dashboard for use in troubleshooting * Experience developing security-focused content for Splunk, including creation of complex threat detection logic and operational dashboards. * Familiarity with key security events on common IT platforms * Experience creating roadmaps, conceptual designs, and transition plans. * Understanding of Change, Incident, Problem and Release Management processes. * Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytic and qualitative eye for reasoning under pressure * Works under limited direction independently Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: * Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
