Job Description

Demand Accelerator is a team that represents a transformation of Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Leadership, and Space Engineering resources to support Sales and Marketing plans for enterprise, national, and regional customers across the PepsiCo portfolio. The Demand Accelerator helps PepsiCo provide our customers cutting edge data and insights as well as personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and PepsiCo.

As a member of Space Advanced Analytics team you will help make Space insights actionable across the entire PepsiCo portfolio. Your analysis will be used to create efficiencies in the current process and coming up with first of a kind solution for pressing questions that will be shared with internal PepsiCo teams as well as with major retailers all over the United States.

Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • As a Sr. Space Analyst, you will serve as a critical member of the Space Capabilities team helping advance the processes and ways-of-working of PepsiCo in this space. You will work cross-functionally with the internal team and account teams to drive processes and develop customized solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of experience in Retail, Sales, and/or Category Management, with good knowledge of product merchandising or shelf management (either Salty Snacks or Beverage preferred)

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated advanced Excel skills and experience in handling large data sets

  • High Level Organization and Planning skills: capable of managing multiple major projects simultaneously

  • Able to collaborate effectively: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely, ability to facilitate groups, and ability to influence activities of individual team members towards goals

  • Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.

  • Able to establish and attain high standards for self; able to make decisions and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Space Planning software experience (JDA or EYC Apollo)

  • Experience using Tableau and other Visual Analytics tools

  • Ability to prioritize among multiple priorities

  • Ability to function well in a team environment

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Cross functional experience working with other functions, e.g., Sales, Marketing, and IT functions

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong influence management

  • Experience with IRI: building ad-hoc reports

  • Functional knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or VBA

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required in business, economics or other quantitative field. Commitment to Insurance designation is required. * 2-4 years progressively responsible experience. * Proven understanding of all casualty actuarial techniques, standards and assumptions. * Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to broad audiences. * Ability to establish and build effective relationships within and outside the organization.
