In the same way that DevOps is a software engineering culture and practice that aims at unifying software development (Dev) and software operation (Ops), the main characteristic of
this role is to strongly advocate the integration of customer Finance (Fin) and operational (Ops) execution on the AWS Cloud.
This role will be a trusted adviser for customers guiding them on how to apply all of the commercial and technical levers that AWS offers in order to optimize for efficiency. You will engage with Enterprise IT, Operations and Finance teams, in order implement best practices for cloud adoption while accessing all available cost savings. This will include generating and providing recommendations on how customers can optimize their usage of AWS and what services may be available to them that they have not yet considered. He/she will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for AWS customers to other internal parties.
Active collaboration with leadership in WW Business Development, AR, Billing, Legal, Operations and product teams will be crucial to the effective execution of this role. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex topics, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
Manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically
Partner with internal teams and the customer to promote a mindset and methodology of maximizing the commercial value of AWS
Become the subject matter expert in all commercial aspects of the customer life-cycle.
Build analytical tools and customer workflows to formulate and deliver meaningful recommendations to customers on optimizing their AWS usage
Educate and enable our largest customers so that they can self-serve and are no longer reliant on "hands-on" support.
Coordinate periodic commercial reviews with customers and Strategic Account Managers.
Gather insights from the business, develop opinions and present solutions to Strategic Accounts leadership, and be the advocate internally for customer experience issues.
