As a Senior Solutions Capacity Specialist, you will have the responsibility of developing complex capacity models, orchestrating monthly capacity meetings with key technology stakeholders, monitoring capacity utilization levels and providing strategic analysis for cost savings initiatives or other key technology deployment projects. You will provide capacity planning services and functional leadership for data center infrastructure capacity planning for all regional right-sizing of GLOBE related infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to match your passion for working with the latest technologies in the field while gaining practical experience on how to effectively manage IT assets across a global IT organization with one of the largest SAP HANA implementations in the world.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functionally supervise the determination and prioritization the future capacity needs of the Nestl IS/IT infrastructure, based on business, operational, project and budget requirement taking budget constraints in consideration as needed.

  • Regular provisioning of capacity reports to key stakeholders in GLOBE. Key Stakeholder management between the regions and functional areas.

  • Collaborates with the Performance Operations Experts and Specialists to gain feedback on system performance and stability.

  • Participate to the Capacity Sizing Community hosted by the Global Capacity Planning Expert. Translate requirements coming from global projects into regional requirements.

  • Ensure system stability and performance by right-sizing the GLOBE related infrastructure including regular reviews of the capacity used to proactively prevent over-allocation of resources and resource bottlenecks.

  • Governance and ownership of ad hoc and project requirements via transforming requests into capacity demands and budget impact. Define continuous improvement processes for capacity management and create monthly capacity dashboards and reporting to support effective governance.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in an IS/IT related field is strongly preferred

Experience (Years/Type):

  • 5+ years' experience as an IT Capacity Planning Specialist in a complex, matrixed IT organization

  • 5+ years' experience of ownership and governance responsibility for efficient IT capacity planning and management efforts

  • ITIL v3 framework knowledge strongly preferred

  • SAP/SAP HANA experience preferred

  • Intermediate scripting knowledge with Python preferred

Position will reside in Phoenix, AZ.

Travel 5-10% or as business needs require.
