Senior Solution Engineer: Healthcare

Job Summary:

As a Senior Solution Engineer, your goal is a simple one: Partner with Account Executives to conduct discovery sessions with prospects and clients to understand their goals and desired business outcomes; use creative problem-solving skills to identify an ideal solution within Reputation's toolset (of which you will become a technical expert); and deliver strategic presentations to communicate those solutions and demonstrate the value of the Reputation platform. You'll take any feedback from the field to our product team to continue to inform our tools' evolution and you'll share the solutions you build with the implementation teams to ensure our clients' success.

And, ideally, you'll have some fun while you do it.

A successful candidate will have a strong technical aptitude along with a self-starting, proactive mentality and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be working with a rapidly changing technical platform and you will be handling complex issues. They will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. They will practice empathy with their prospects and their colleagues, and will understand the importance of asking the right questions to the right stakeholders.

This role supports our Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical and we are seeking candidates who have (at a minimum) familiarity with healthcare enterprises and hospital systems; expertise in navigating those businesses is an ideal. Beyond that, a strong understanding of one or more of the following is especially encouraged: Online Reputation Management strategy; Local Search Optimization (local SEO) strategies; Google Business Profiles; Survey and Customer/Patient Experience (CX/PX) management suites and strategies; Social Media management and tools to support strategic initiatives; Web Development and Project Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demos explaining the product platform to prospective customers.

  • Gain customer acceptance by demonstrating value and explaining how platform can deliver upon business outcomes

  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short- and long-term issues and collaborating with the global team to raise everyone's game

  • Mentor less-experienced Solution Engineers to support team and business growth

  • Work with post-sale customer success teams to transition prospects to be successful customers

  • Set and achieve sales goals and quotas

  • Provide insights and recommendations along with effective presentation skills; ability to deliver a technical pitch to C-suites

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in a pre-sales technical role, preferably in a SaaS environment, or related equivalent practical experience

  • Bachelor's degree or related equivalent practical experience

  • Experience with: Online Reputation Management; Local SEO; Google Business Profiles; Survey and Customer/Patient Experience (CX/PX) management suites; Social Media management tools; Web Development

  • Experience with healthcare enterprises or hospital systems, either as a vendor engaging with stakeholders in that industry or as a practitioner

  • Strong analytic skills and experience with data analysis either using Excel Pivot tables or tools similar to Tableau

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS

  • Experience with APIs and identifying opportunities for integrations

  • Comfortable with discussion surrounding SSO
