Provide technical leadership of software engineers by directing and tracking team activities, as well as being an individual contributor
Actively monitor software activities through Confluence, JIRA.
Conduct quality testing and integration of new or updated systems
Perform installs, commission, and test application software as part of an integrated solution
Conduct training for customers and key-users
Act as customer contact for technical software scope, coordinating activities and deliverables; you will design functional specifications and develop software
Ensure standard work being followed (DI1000/ISO).
Provide second level support of installed systems
Continually work to identify improvements and mitigate project risks

In-depth understanding of Software and IT/hardware setup
Understanding of network configurations
Current experience with C and C++ Programming
Current experience with VB.Net
Database Design and Programming Knowledge (Microsoft SQL, Oracle)
Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server
General knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST), Socket Programming
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Experience with Team Foundation Server
General understanding and knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)
Education and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
10-15 years of software development / implementation experience. Leadership experience / potential is desired.
PMP - preferred
CSM - preferred
Willingness to travel 20%, or more.
Experience with industrial automation a plus
