Compensation: $104,000-$125,000 per year. You are eligible to a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.

Sr. Software Integrations Analyst- Remote, USA

As a Sr. Software Integrations Analyst, you will design, build and test integrations between Ambry and our partners, which could be hospitals, clinics, or other large health systems. Software Integrations Analysts will work with clients, Digital Health Operations, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to ensure the workflows are designed and built well. This role will be primarily focused on delivering and testing bidirectional and unidirectional EHR integration feeds including appointments, documents, orders, and results integrations. The EHR Integration team is leveraging Mirth Connect, HL7 (V2 and FHIR), XML, and JSON for these integrations.

The successful candidate will embody a spirit of continuous improvement while engaging with collaborative cross-functional teams. This person will gain knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, both in the genetics and technology industries. Knowledge of genetic testing, molecular biology, or other scientific-related disciplines is a benefit but is not required. Essential Functions

  • Build and validate Mirth Connect channels to receive orders, return results, and facilitate other workflows as needed.

  • Map and document high-level workflow requirements to integrations, including gathering necessary data from requisite systems or databases.

  • Work with clients and business leaders to define, develop, and execute solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

  • Perform QA tasks that include completing workflows in Ambry systems to replicate user workflows to generate documents and result reports.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues in existing integrations as needed.

  • Collaborate with Integration Software Engineers to review integration quality and solve problems.

  • Highlight blockers or issues arising during development to resolve in a timely manner.

  • Participate in standups or other Agile ceremonies as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ Years EHR Interoperability Experience

  • Understanding of various data formats, including ability to programmatically read and write HL7, XML, JSON, and CSV

  • Ability to build and troubleshoot workflow using various connection types (ex: MLLP, HTTPS, SFTP, SMTP)

  • Versed in design and usage of relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL

  • Experience with large system EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.)

  • Experience with Mirth Connect or other integration platforms such as Rhapsody or CorePoint

  • Competency in translating functional requirements into technical requirements, highlighting complexity and problematic areas

  • Ability to logically troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with and/or certifications in Mirth Connect or other integration platforms such as Rhapsody or CorePoint

  • Experience with production and consumption of web services (ex: REST, SOAP, AMQP)

  • Experience with cloud technologies (ex: SNS, SQS, S3)
