Sr. Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Software Engineer in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metro to join our dynamic team.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a key role in contributing to the development of software solutions. This position involves hands-on coding, problem resolution, cross-team collaboration, and active participation in the software development lifecycle.

A day in the life You will be responsible for the following: Performing all commercial software development duties, including but not limited to technical design, coding, and unit testing so that high quality commercial software releases are delivered to clients in a predictable and consistent schedule according to WellSky development processes Collaborating with solutions team(s) to define requirements, conducting analysis, and solving problems on a single product/service Preparing technical documentation, conducting, and participating in code reviews to ensure that commercial software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices and the highest quality Offering technical direction and guidance to other product development team members and assisting in managing development environments as well as installing and configuring commercial products Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 4-6 years of related work experience Experience in designing and developing Web-based applications using C#, .NET, Restful Web API, SQL server Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React Nunit, Xunit, or comparable unit testing framework Git experience Experience with an Agile Scrum methodology Good hands on and working knowledge of application development and SDLC life cycle process Proficient in debugging applications and performance tuning Do you stand above the rest? Preferred Qualifications:
