Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Sr. Software Engineer

LOCATION: 2702 Love Field Drive Dallas, TX and Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

DUTIES: Design, write program code, test, document, and implement functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated application systems in accordance with Customer requirements,

organizational methodologies, and standards; identify and prevent production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas; mentor Software Engineers with a holistic vision of organization and impact, focusing on "shift left" activities; drive the technical direction and feature roadmap of large-scale cloud systems; serve as a mentor contributing to and directing the efforts to junior development teams, including internal and external team members; determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions; drive detailed definition of feature requirements through discussions with product managers and customers; support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies; prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming; evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems; mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities; update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; and participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Computer Engineer, App Developer, Systems Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years performing:

• Java 1.7, JavaScript, Collections, Servlets, Struts framework, JSP, XML, Hibernate, SOAP-1.1, JAX-WS 2.0, and JAX-RS - Restful Services (Spring);

• Java Skills - J2EE, JDBC, Java Server Pages (JSP), Multithreading, JMS, RabbitMQ, Spring Cloud Data Flow, Spring Microservices, and Spring Boot;

• Machine learning, related optimization and knowledge systems; and

• Agile practices.

Hybrid role, may work from home.
