Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

LOCATION: Dallas, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)

DUTIES: Provide support for production deployments; create bounded contexts by applying the strangler pattern to the crew monolithic application; create micro UIs in React.js or Next.js to support business processes; enhance web application to support CBA requirements; mentor junior members of the team; present project work in the Developer forum; lead code reviews; assist architecture on estimates and high-level designs; implement Kafka patterns to support the decommission of CrewODS; enhance or implement AWS infrastructure modules that will support blue/green deployment pattern; modify existing applications to be able to run active-active in AWS; provide production support for the business teams; provide system support for the QMO teams; implement eventing framework to support real-time updates to the other Crew product lines.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a software engineer/developer, solution architect, consultant, tech lead, or in a related/similar position.

Experience therein to include 5 years in software development using Java; 3 years with Scrum and Agile; 2 years mentoring software engineers; and 1 year with domain driven design, test driven design, Python, React, AWS infrastructure, Kafka, Linux, Confluence, Jira, and CyberArk. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
