Job Description:

DUTIES: Perform analysis, design and programming for business solutions. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are written to enhance the Bank's IT and business processes. Document and maintain programs, utilizing knowledge and experience to confer with user representatives from across the Bank as well as vendors to gain an understanding of necessary changes to the Bank's applications. Submit specifications to senior staff members or management for review, and act as a resource to junior staff members.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years relevant experience.

  • Experience must include strong Java programming skills.

  • Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.

  • Knowledge on SOAP/REST based web services (both client and server side).

  • Has developed integrations between systems using various protocols.

  • Experience with Agile development, JIRA and GIT source control is a plus.

  • Requires knowledge of complete software development life cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development and testing validation.

  • Programming Languages: Java

  • IDE: Eclipse/IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD)

  • Frameworks: Spring/Spring Boot

  • OS: Unix, Linux, Windows

  • Scripting Languages: JavaScript/JSON, XML

This position is also a primary technical resource within the organization regarding all aspects of deposit pricing. Serves as a primary resource regarding deposit pricing and product management. Updates and assists with the development of product policies and pricing strategies, and presents recommendations to senior management for final approval. Creates and provides reports and insight regarding fee income, deposit rates, business growth, profitability, sales results and market share to senior and executive management using a variety of internal and external information resources. Utilizes expertise in financial, operational, customer and regulatory issues associated with the deposit business to assist with methodology development and financial models related to deposit products. Prepares deposit campaign pro-forma analysis, participates in merger & acquisition due diligence, and supports other major initiatives and critical strategic decisions for the organization. Assists with identifying market opportunities, and formulates tactical plans to implement initiatives to grow deposits in a cost-effective manner. Initiatives include branch sales campaigns, direct mail and digital marketing, analysis of new markets and opportunities for business growth. Acts as a primary contact for deposit rate exception requests, and serves as the administrator of the deposit rate exception process and policy. Assists with the budgeting and forecasting process for deposit products. Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies. Employment Type Full Time Job Requirements Education/Experience College degree or equivalent work experience required. 3-5 years relevant experience with deposit pricing and/or deposit product management. Certification/License/ Behavioral/Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of deposit products, including asset and liability management, funds transfer pricing, marketing, product pricing, design and development. Expertise in financial modeling, projection, budget consolidation and analysis. Superior written, verbal and presentation skills are needed to effectively make recommendations to senior management. Expertise in a variety of technical software applications used in analysis and modeling. Experience with SAS, Business Objects, and/or SQL a plus. Strong project management, analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception through completion.
