Our Technology team has 6 different departments: Information Security, Service Delivery, Business Enabling Systems, eCommerce & Marketing Technology, Data and Stores, Services & Supply Chain.

About the Location

Hybrid Position:

This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart's FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs.

About the Job

PetSmart LLC seeks a full-time Sr. Software Engineer Integration based in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsible for collaborating with various application teams to design and build sustainable solutions to meet business needs and add significant business value. Provide accurate and reliable business information to stakeholders. Work with product management, architecture, and development teams to build detailed technical design and specification documents, to meet business needs, considering capabilities, risks, and system dependencies.

Execute the build, test, and deployment of full lifecycle integration solutions. Champion efforts to ensure appropriate development best practices. Work on multiple concurrent projects, meet business expectations, influence outcomes, and maintain stated timelines.

Mentor Jr. developers to grow skills in applying PetSmart's best practices and standards. Technologies and tools utilized by this position include: TIBCO integration platforms:

BusinessWorks 5.x and 6.x, EMS, BW adapters, and plugins; building and deploying applications on both On-Prem & Cloud Platforms using products Tibco Enterprise Administrator; working with Pub-Sub messaging patterns, service-oriented designs and technologies (XML/JSON) as well as REST and SOAP webservices; reusing common services framework, error logging and handling, and automated monitoring framework; and managing applications using DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery framework/concepts using Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of related, progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Experience must include one (1) year of experience, which may be concurrent, with all of the following: 1) Working with TIBCO integration platforms:

BusinessWorks 5.x and 6.x, EMS, BW adapters, and plugins. 2) Building and deploying applications on both On-Prem & Cloud Platforms using products Tibco Enterprise Administrator. 3) working with Pub-Sub messaging patterns, service-oriented designs and technologies (XML/JSON) as well as REST and SOAP webservices. 4) Reusing common services framework, error logging and handling, and automated monitoring framework. 5) Managing applications using DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery framework/concepts using Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub.
