Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. In addition, recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

Main Duties and Tasks:

Produce software features as part of a strong team according to Design and User Stories/Specifications.

Development of new programs, analyzing current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a high-quality, scalable application.

Enhance and maintain existing software systems.

Ability to translate complex problems to detailed tasks.

Implement planned software design using Java technologies.

Resolve bugs identified through internal testing and customer feedback using issue management software and processes.

Other duties as assigned.


A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

At least 4 years of experience developing large-scale enterprise systems

Should have excellent team working skills

Strong knowledge of various software programming languages and ability to learn new technologies.

Ability to develop software in Java, JavaScript, Windows.NET/C# or other selected languages.

Excellent knowledge or relational databases (SQL, Hibernate)

Advanced skills: Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, c#.NET, Tomcat, Spring/Hibernate, SQL.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk or hear.

Required to stand and sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Little or no travel is required.
