Role Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and analytical entrepreneur to own and manage global ecommerce roadmap, platforms, and drive DTC revenue through rapid test & learn. This is a hybrid role working closely with both the tech and marketing teams. You are a strategic and technical leader capable of guiding and executing our ecommerce initiatives with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

    • Strategic Project Management and Leadership: Prioritize strategic initiatives across brand, growth, international, and product teams to improve the customer journey. Collaborate with stakeholders (including designers and engineers) to develop and implement improvements and new features.
    • Technical Implementation: Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code in React, Typescript, vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc. Implement best practices in our build and deployment processes to ensure the quality and stability of our ecommerce platforms.
    • Conversion Rate Optimization: Own the CRO program and roadmap to improve conversion rates, AOV, and LTV for Skylight products. 
    • Platform Management: Lead, manage, and optimize the web stack including platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and site analytics tools; optimize application performance in both cost and user experience.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on ecommerce metrics, using insights to drive business decisions and report on performance to the team.  Own the technical implementation tracking, analytics, A/B testing, and reporting around CRO and ecommerce.
    • Team collaboration and leadership: Mentor and guide other Front End engineers on the team. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree and more than 5 years of technical ecommerce experience.
    • Extensive experience (5+ years) developing React & Typescript (React Native, nice to have).
    • Experience with both statically built and SSR-based web development.
    • Deep expertise in Shopify. 
    • Strong understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns.
    • Proven track record of success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies (including CRO and landing page optimization) that drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
    • Experience managing roadmaps around e-commerce solutions and testing.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Bonus: Experience with BI and data visualization tools like Amplitude, Metabase, Mixpanel, and GA4.

For Colorado-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $160K-180K based on experience and for California-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $160K-180K based on experience.
