With more than $150M in funding, 100% year over year growth for the past five years and a recent billion-dollar valuation, Seismic is the leader in the enterprise sales enablement software space. Using leading edge cloud technologies and web enabled solutions, we are innovating and solving complex problems to help the world's top companies improve collaboration and content delivery between marketing and sales. Headquartered in San Diego and with more than 600 employees across the globe, Seismic is privately held by its executive team and investment firms General Atlantic, JMI Equity, Jackson Square Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and T. Rowe Price.

Seismic has built its industry leading Sales Enablement platform on managed cloud services. However, unlike many companies that are transitioning from on-prem to cloud, Seismic platform is cloud native and we are on a journey to make our platform cloud agnostic. This role will be joining the team responsible for making that a reality. You'll be on the leading edge and leverage your back-end development expertise to expand the capabilities of our current platform.

What's Expected:

  • Design and develop complex software solutions that allow us to integrate with multiple cloud providers

  • Use your knowledge of cloud-based architecture to ensure best practices of microservices and abstraction between our platform and cloud service providers.

  • Partner and collaborate with other peer engineers to ensure alignment of solutions to other areas of the platform.

  • Dive into the code to understand interdependencies and implementations of the existing platform

  • A team first, "we win together" mentality that fosters idea sharing across all levels of the team.

  • Ability to implement software development best practices that encourage high levels of security and performance.

What you'll need for success

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Strong depth of knowledge in object-oriented programming (preferably C#)

  • 7+ years of experience of software development for enterprise software or SaaS at scale

  • 2+ years of experience with cloud based architecture and technologies (microservices, Kubernetes, terraform, Docker)

  • Strong ability to communicate concisely and with precision
