Senior Software Engineer : AI / ML - Data and Analytics Solutions, Vault Platform

Can be based out of our Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA offices - HYBRID

Description:

• Design and build scalable AI solutions to address business challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to ensure data quality for training models.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and integrate them into existing projects.

• Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for specific projects.

• Build and ensure seamless integration of AI/ML solutions with data pipelines.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

• Apply differing techniques in delivering natural language responses to natural language questions.

• Define workflows, agents and tools that can be leveraged by LLMs when answering natural language questions.

• Deliver features to production while considering functional and non-functional requirements, including security, latency, disaster recovery, and performance.

• Take an active part in a Scrum team to deliver high quality software to the business

• Deliver the defined solutions for the projects thru the Agile process

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing ML infrastructure and MLOps in the Cloud

• Proficiency in Python and another programming language such as Rust, Java, C++

• Experience with API frameworks such as Flask or SpringBoot

• Experience working with machine learning models with respect to deployment, inference, tuning, and measurement

• Knowledge and deep interest in building solutions using LLMs and tools like langchain

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and their applications.

• Experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn

• Experience with building data pipelines in getting the data required to build and evaluate ML models, using distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark or Snowflake

• Superb interpersonal skills, with a track record of being able to influence multi-functional teams and leaders, and develop and maintain relationships across and between organizations

• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

9-11 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
