Position: Senior Software Development Engineer (Cary, North Carolina)

Duties: Develop Graphic User Interface (GUI) using Struts framework. Write JavaScript functions to validate user input and display appropriate messages. Code GUI using HTML and Spring framework. Prepare technical design document for use cases. Write ESB services to fetch/update data from backend systems. Code using Java, JAXB and XML technologies. Write JUnit test cases and perform integration testing for application functionality. Write PL-SQL queries to fetch data from databases. Provide Java code fixes for reported application defects. Develop REST and SOAP services to be used by other applications. Design and develop applications with distributed cache such as Dynatrace and Redis.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics or Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience building web applications utilizing Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML/JSON and Ajax utilizing Spring framework in a service oriented architecture using SOAP or Restful services or, alternatively, a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience as noted above. Must possess three (3) years of experience in the following: designing frameworks and patterns using Struts, Tiles, EJB, Servlets, JSP, JAXB, DOJO, HTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL and PL/SQL; analyzing business requirements to design and develop web applications meeting business needs using application and web servers in WebSphere, Apache Tomcat or WebLogic; troubleshooting technical web application and web services issues with multi-tier architectures; performing software development using industry standards including Waterfall and Agile methodologies; and building test automation using JUnit, continuous integration, builds and deployment with tools including Maven.
