About the Position
As Sr. Social Media Video Content Creator, you'll work closely with our highly recognized social media team to create entertaining, creative videos that engage and help build relationships with our social media audiences.
A successful candidate will possess expert production and post-production skills to create highly shareable videos for our student and alumni audiences on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others. With limited supervision, you'll be responsible for developing video treatments and producing, filming, and editing video productions. You'll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment with a talented team of social media strategists, copywriters, and designers.

What You'll Do
For the sake of brevity, we're only going to list the key responsibilities rather than the typical laundry list. They are:
Produce, direct, film, and edit original highly shareable video productions for Social Media audiences;
Develop concepts and ideas and present recommendations to the Social Media Team, Creative Department and Marketing leadership;
Collaborate with a team of copywriters, designers and social media professionals to concept highly sharable, on-brand, social-first content;
Work as a production crew of one when appropriate, or draw from other in-house production resources when needed
Utilize creative and novel editorial techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing social media landscape
What You Bring to the Table
Once again, we're only going to list the key requirements for this position rather than the typical laundry list. They are:
Strong editorial and visual storytelling skills with proficiencies in color grading, motion graphics, typography, Sound Mixing and VFX skills.
Strong familiarity with building and operating professional camera packages (RED, Canon C300, A7S ii)
Director of Photography/Gaffer experience lighting small to mid-sized studio sets and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations
Extensive understanding of social content with a strong grasp of what's hot, what's trending and how this fits within the context of the University of Phoenix brand narrative
