Sr. Simulation And Modeling Engineer (Hybrid Eligible)

You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of simulations and integration of models for cutting-edge autonomous aircraft and missile systems

• Design, build, and test comprehensive software simulations

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy

• Optimize simulation performance to drive real-time Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) testing

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience

• Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

• Experience in C++, Python, or similar languages

• Experience with C/C++ Build Systems (e.g., CMake)

• Experience with AFSIM, STK, or similar DoD simulation tools is preferred

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

• Understanding of aerospace systems

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
