The Sr ServiceNow Developer/Architect is responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing mobile device friendly ServiceNow modules using client-side browser technologies. It's important that candidates have a strong background in building mobile friendly, scalable, high-quality, high-performing ServiceNow modules, along with strong troubleshooting skills.
Perform day to day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
Develop and support API, REST, SOAP integration enhancements in ServiceNow
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform
Advise teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices
Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
Create and configure UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
Develop data services in ServiceNow to integrate ServiceNow with legacy applications and core applications
Work with functional and administrator teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow
Experience and Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience performing ServiceNow analysis and application development or similar responsibility
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Project, On-Call Scheduling etc.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
Prior experience participating in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
Strong development skills to support API, REST, SOAP integrations
Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow modules: Performance Analytics, Orchestration, PPM, CMDB, GRC etc. a plus
Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
