CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Senior Security Engineer for its Franklin, TN, headquarters Security team.

POSITION SUMMARIES: Lead project initiatives involving implementation of operating systems, applications, databases, network and security related infrastructure components. Coordinates and ensures project schedules are maintained by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities and resolving problems and escalations.

Controls project plans by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends; recommend actions on a timely basis. Maintains and executes project details in all aspects of the implementation and execution phases of a project.

Provides leadership on project budget execution including appropriate tracking of Operating and Capital Expenditures. Implements project plans including the deployment of security appliances, servers, virtual machines, applications, client deployments, and security artifact clean-ups. Maintains security environments by enforcing policies, standards and procedures.

Owns and maintains project documentation and utilizes industry standard Project and Portfolio Management toolsets to facilitate archival and distribution of project deliverables. Responsible for scheduling cost control, resource management and stakeholder communication for project and portfolio initiatives across the Security organization. Demonstrated ability to utilize resources and budgets to drive compliance and help maintain the integrity of project deliverables that meet quality objectives and negotiated timelines.

Responsible for providing guidance using specialized knowledge and toolsets to project teams during planning and execution of project and program initiatives. Responsible for preparation of project budget forecast and time tracking for project life cycle. Mentor team members of the team by sharing experience, knowledge and insight.

Emphasis on being self-motivated and leading by example. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree preferred or relevant experience.

Appropriate industry certification(s) desired. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Required Minimum 8 years experience with delivery of large project and/or program initiatives; application development initiatives, network implementations or large and operating system implementations in a medium to large enterprise preferably in a multi-hospital and /or medical center setting Works independently as well as collaboratively with no supervision Excellent knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle Significant experience with Project Management/Program Management tools and Project Portfolio Management Tools Excellent knowledge of budgets, time and expense management and Capital/Operating Expense management Understanding of Security Methodologies Knowledge of Agile Project Management Knowledge of Networking components (routers switches, load balancers, wireless access points, etc) Knowledge of advanced firewall technologies, mail servers and web servers Knowledge of the following Operating Systems/Applications (AS400, NetIQ, MS Windows, McKesson, Meditech, and Health Management Systems) Experience in supporting Healthcare environment helpful JOB KNOWLEDGE:

VIEW JOBS 11/20/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-18T00:00 Under limited supervision, this position architects, designs, and assists in deploying, maintaining, monitoring, managing, and tuning security tools related to the Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC). Cyber Security Engineers work with other engineers and analysts to correlate and analyze security-related data and respond to threats in accordance with policies as appropriate. Cyber Security Engineer participates in and leads architecture and controls design cross group functional elements, balancing the technical, business, and compliance requirements in pursuit of risk control and reduction in the cybersecurity stance of the company and clients. The Cyber Security Engineer is expected to exhibit excellent judgment, prudence, and adherence to ethical standards. Essential duties, responsibilities and competencies : General * Monitor the operational support systems to proactively identify service impacting events which are candidates for automation and which relate to PSAP connectivity and functionality. * Design, deploy, and train for maintenance a nationwide IAM solution. * Structure, then automate a national scale log aggregation and monitoring solution. * Design, configure, and document security deployment schema, including: o Firewalls o IDS/IPS o Anti-Virus / Host based or End Point solutions * Perform APT correlation if needed between multiple event sources such as firewall and system logs, threat intelligence feeds, anti-virus logs, IDS and IPS logs. * Conduct Vulnerability Assessments as required. * Conduct Risk Assessments as required. * Document and create deployment designs and processes for security devices and solutions. * Actively participate in ongoing internal training. * Represent the company publicly. * Mentor NOC Staff and junior SOC staff in security areas. * Own issues and exceptions and works them through to resolution. * Produce transparent written and verbal communications. * Prioritize time and financial spend to maximize spend / risk reduction return. * Create controls and mitigation strategies and frameworks as needed. * Ensure expectations for delivery or resolution are met and communicated transparently to clients, both internal and external. Qualification: * Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems, or STEM discipline or at least 7 years equivalent work experience required. * CISSP, CISA, CISM CCSP, CEH or other GIAC - DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT / IAM certification required within 6 months of hire. * Strong working knowledge of networking devices, including IDS/IPS systems, firewalls, packet capture tools, and file integrity monitoring tools. * Able to independently originate and review security architectural documents (technical or process) and suggest improvements or remedial actions. * In depth knowledge of networking protocols, system calls, TCP/IP stack, OSI model & PKI systems. * Advanced level of knowledge of incident response, detection and prevention. * Intermediate level of knowledge of NIST and NENA security standards. * Intermediate working knowledge of either COBIT or ITIL. * Ability to script or code in at least one language.
