CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Senior Security Engineer for its Franklin, TN, headquarters Security team.
POSITION SUMMARIES: Lead project initiatives involving implementation of operating systems, applications, databases, network and security related infrastructure components. Coordinates and ensures project schedules are maintained by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities and resolving problems and escalations.
Controls project plans by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends; recommend actions on a timely basis. Maintains and executes project details in all aspects of the implementation and execution phases of a project.
Provides leadership on project budget execution including appropriate tracking of Operating and Capital Expenditures. Implements project plans including the deployment of security appliances, servers, virtual machines, applications, client deployments, and security artifact clean-ups. Maintains security environments by enforcing policies, standards and procedures.
Owns and maintains project documentation and utilizes industry standard Project and Portfolio Management toolsets to facilitate archival and distribution of project deliverables. Responsible for scheduling cost control, resource management and stakeholder communication for project and portfolio initiatives across the Security organization. Demonstrated ability to utilize resources and budgets to drive compliance and help maintain the integrity of project deliverables that meet quality objectives and negotiated timelines.
Responsible for providing guidance using specialized knowledge and toolsets to project teams during planning and execution of project and program initiatives. Responsible for preparation of project budget forecast and time tracking for project life cycle. Mentor team members of the team by sharing experience, knowledge and insight.
Emphasis on being self-motivated and leading by example. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree preferred or relevant experience.
Appropriate industry certification(s) desired. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Required Minimum 8 years experience with delivery of large project and/or program initiatives; application development initiatives, network implementations or large and operating system implementations in a medium to large enterprise preferably in a multi-hospital and /or medical center setting Works independently as well as collaboratively with no supervision Excellent knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle Significant experience with Project Management/Program Management tools and Project Portfolio Management Tools Excellent knowledge of budgets, time and expense management and Capital/Operating Expense management Understanding of Security Methodologies Knowledge of Agile Project Management Knowledge of Networking components (routers switches, load balancers, wireless access points, etc) Knowledge of advanced firewall technologies, mail servers and web servers Knowledge of the following Operating Systems/Applications (AS400, NetIQ, MS Windows, McKesson, Meditech, and Health Management Systems) Experience in supporting Healthcare environment helpful JOB KNOWLEDGE:
