Nintendo is currently seeking a security researcher to join our Platform Security team. This individual will be responsible for a variety of key security-related tasks and initiatives to improve security in our products.


  • Research, investigate, and propose innovative security countermeasures, advanced security techniques, or improved security architectures.

  • Conduct cutting-edge security research on new attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and exploitation techniques.

  • Perform sophisticated security design review, coupled with the ability to reverse engineer security breaches.

  • Create detailed technical reports and/or proof of concept code to document findings.


  • Passionate about Security.

  • Technical expertise in one or more embedded security topics such as exploit reverse engineering and vulnerability discovery.

  • Proficient with one or more programming languages including but not limited to C, C , Assembly.

  • Familiarity with operating system concepts, compiler internals, debuggers, disassemblers, and other low-level development tools.

  • Understanding of common cryptographic algorithms (e.g. AES, 3DES, RSA, ECC).

  • Experience or knowledge of Trusted computing technologies like ARM TZ, Intel SGX and AMD SEV.

  • Familiarity with Secure Boot, UEFI/BIOS, TPM and other features which help secure HW.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

We are looking for an individual who possesses a strong technical background as a PKI professional with deep experience managing PKI services and devices along with the necessary security controls and procedures enabling PKI services. To be successful, you will also need to demonstrate that you have the relevant soft skills; meticulous, high integrity, discretion, and collaboration to name a few. Required qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * 2+ years PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) experience * 2+ years of operational support, technical design, and process analysis Preferred qualifications: * Experienced with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) * In depth knowledge of certificate lifecycle management * Some after-hours support and business travel required * Strong troubleshooting, problem resolution, judgment, and decision making skills * Experience with physical security controls (e.g. ICS-705TS, NIST) * 2+ years of software development and/or software test * Experience with WebTrust certification * Experienced operating highly secure PKI services * US intelligence community experience * Technology certification is a plus (CISSP, CEH, nCSE.
