The FIAM Sales Technology Team is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a co-located team based in Smithfield, RI. The FIAM Intermediary Sales Technology team supports Sales and CRM tools, including World Class and Mobile World Class, as well as other applications and tools that provide key capabilities to our clients. This position will play a key role in delivering new and improving existing technologies to help drive sales and gain market share in an ever-changing and challenging business climate.

Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide, including: wire-houses (National Broker-Dealer firms), regional and independent broker/dealers, banks, trust companies, and insurance companies. FIAM offers Fidelity Advisor Funds, Variable Insurance Product (VIP) Portfolios, the Fidelity Advisor 529 Plan, systematic investment plans, institutional money market funds, and a comprehensive line of retirement products and services.

The Team

As a Scrum Master, you'll be a part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team within FIAM Technology. You'll advise and lead teams on Agile values, practices and processes to ensure that squads are fully functional, productive and always focused on the sprint goals. Working with the Product Owner, you will support the work of the team by ensuring a maintained backlog and facilitating agile ceremonies like stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. You will monitor team performance through KPI's and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work better and smarter. You will also serve as the team release champion, owning several key tasks that ensures our work is released to production with quality.

The Expertise You Have

  • Strong understanding of and experience with Agile practices and processes

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or experience working as a Scrum Master

  • Passionate about Technology and a desire to transform Fidelity into a Digital Company

An integral part of this role is to build relationships with certification agencies, notified bodies and international regulatory authorities as appropriate. Primary Responsibilities * Submit on time certification Technical Files in support of NPI projects. * Submit on time certification renewals for the EFH Industrial Safety business. * Engineering liaison for Technical File updates related to material changes, SKU revisions and quality issues. * As needed, prepare Technical Files in support of any EF global Medical Device products. * Prepare/coordinate lab test plans in support of NPI validation and modifications to legacy products. * Act as certification focal for all EFH related communications including CoCs and particularly EU Declarations of Conformity * Cover EFH protective products in all General Safety PPE categories including: hardhats, spectacles, goggles, face shields, welding and Rx safety. * Support PPE standards compliance and certification of products to ANSI, CE, and CSA, AS/NZS and South America. * Participate in global standards development committees as deemed strategic by the business * Support compliance group in audits and/or inspection activities where necessary internally or at suppliers. * Support NPI and legacy projects as requested, facilitating & supporting key regulatory projects for major revisions/changes to applicable standards. * Support groups in emerging markets with regulatory and product performance documentation. * Provide interpretive guidance on regulatory and standards performance requirements * Support Product Stewardship activites for EFH products * Keep all stakeholders apprised of expected changes to the regulatory landscape affecting the performance of existing, and new EFH products. * Provide training on the Technical aspects of relevant EFH standards * Assist Customer Service and Technical Support on field questions relating to EFH products 25 Continuous improvement 25 Cost improvement analysis 25 Regulatory reviews 25 Drive technical solutions YOU MUST HAVE * Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field * 2+ years of hands-on technical industrial safety product experience (Hard Hats, Eye Wear, Goggles, etc.) * 2+ years of direct end-to-end experience working with the Certification agencies (CSA, ANSI, CE) * Strong knowledge of EFH standards relating to global regulatory certification requirements WE VALUE * Master's Degree preferred * Detailed knowledge of Technical File creation and maintenance * Capable of managing multiple projects at once with various deliverables standing of quality processes * Possess strong oral and written skills and proven ability to communicate internally in a cross-functional setting, as well as externally with agencies and suppliers Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status.
