SAIC is seeking experienced professionals to join the National Security Group (NSG). NSG provides specialized program management, engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support the generation after next of national security-related systems based in space, in the air and on the ground.

NSG has openings for a Senior Satellite Integration and Test Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services to a rapidly expanding Government Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The customer is developing next-generation of space and ground systems architectures, hardware, and software solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support to plan and execute spacecraft Integration and Test (I&T) and Verification and Validation (V&V)

  • Provide technical review and assessment of program development and readiness activities

  • Develop and manage requirements, interface control documents, test plans, and reporting.

  • Develop documents and briefings to communicate program/project status; brief customer and industry as required

  • Provide acquisition support to include programmatic and source selection efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience

  • 20+ years of relevant system engineering experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Technical experience in building spacecraft bus components

  • Management experience in subsystems engineering, development, I&T, and V&V

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or related discipline
  • 10 years of relevant IC space systems experience
