Job Summary:
The ITSenior SAP Analyst reports to the IT Development Manager as part of the

Information Technology team. This roledevelops, maintains, and provides production support for SAP ECC and interfaceswith related systems, such as JDA. Thisrole works closely and collaboratively with other Software Engineers and withthe Project Management resources on the IT team, such as the Project Manager,Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance Analysts, along with business usersfrom all At Home departments to design, develop, implement, and support allsystem solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor internal work orders, and relatedexternal ticketing systems, for assigned tasks related to the support of thecorporate application systems.

  • Assist in the establishment of procedures tomeet SOX compliance requirements, and ensure those procedures are followed.

  • Assist users and Business Analysts in thedefinition of requirements for new applications or modifications to existingapplications.

  • Analyze requirements for new applications ormodifications to existing applications in order to define the appropriateplacement of functionality and data within technology-based business solutions.

  • Provide Level of Effort estimates and timelinesto assist Project Management with setting delivery dates on Production Supportissue resolution and Enhancement deployments.

  • Author functional and technical designdocumentation.

  • Work with the IT development team to establishenterprise standards for the architecture of SAP solutions.

  • Apply enterprise standards, policies, patternsand reference architectures to all solutions.

  • Promote the use of shared applications andreusable components to reduce costs and improve information flows. Providerisk assessment for proposed system changes.

  • Configure application and system changes inaccordance with approved design documentation.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure supportpersonnel to define operational aspects of business solutions (security,network, integration, etc.)

  • Unit test new and modified applications.

  • Assist QA resources with the definition of testcases and setup of test scenarios for QA and UAT testing.

  • Define deployment and backout plans, andschedule implementations.

  • Provide production support of applications,including after hours on-call support.

  • Monitor and summarize progress of work ordersfor management.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Organizational skills, including the ability toprioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines and anenvironment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.

  • Working ability to remain effective understress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and theorganization.

  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changingpriorities with promptness, efficiency and ease.

  • Ability to understand and apply software implementationmethodology concepts.

  • Possess desire for continued development andgrowth.

  • Proficient ability to communicate effectivelywith others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provideclear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.

  • Understanding of change management strategy andpractice.

  • Ability to manage disagreements throughconsensus building, relationship management and the formation and presentationof logical, data and fact-based arguments.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program inInformation Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent year-for-yearexperience required.

  • Ten or more years of experience designing,configuring, and implementing changes to SAP ECC.

  • Retail industry experience preferred, especiallyrelated to any of the following areas: store operations, warehousedistribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, andfinance.

  • Experience with SAP ECC Financial applications,version 6.0 or higher, and ABAP programming preferred.
