JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect who will own the integrity and strength of our Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing solutions. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders to get your visions built into successful solutions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate ideas to all members of a project team, along with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task. This position requires strong attention to detail while able to see the larger picture, as well as an ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization. The environment is innovative and rapidly maturing to create a scalable platform for a long service life. After-hours and weekend work is occasionally required.

The role is REMOTE, however preference for individual to be onsite at PODS corporate center in Clearwater, FL (Monday - Thursday, Friday Remote.) In-office presence is important for cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment. When people are together in the same space, they are more likely to build relationships, share ideas, and solve problems together.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with colleagues and consultants to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements

  • Refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders on the project

  • Own the design of Salesforce and other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and Marketing

  • Provide business solutions that may require declarative and custom development including Apex, Flow, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components and other technical components to implement

  • Review third party vendor solutions and current state for best practices; provide recommendations and solution design approval

  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are well and clearly defined for each story

  • Describe and illustrate designs with appropriate level of abstraction

  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing and coordination with other teams

  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, and deployment of Salesforce

  • Define processes and solutions with Salesforce Marketing Automation platforms

  • Guide and lead collaborative project and workstream planning

  • Mentor and manage teams to provide a full complement of capabilities and ownership for the platform

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years' experience in a leading role in delivering results to business stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor in translating technical information into practical solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online,

  • Minimum Salesforce certified:

  • Administrator

  • Sales Cloud Consultant OR Service Cloud Consultant

  • Platform App Builder

  • Sense of ownership over the platform and resulting solutions

  • Excellent relationship-building skills

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results

  • Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels

  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams

  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to make decisions with confidence

  • A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy

  • Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance or a similar field of study,
  • Salesforce Admin and Developer certifications,
  • Salesforce Architecture certifications,
  • Active in the Salesforce community.

Math and Language Skills

  • Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and all levels of management

  • Proficient command of the English language, good use of grammar skills.

  • Able to communicate business needs to management

  • Business math and a grasp of basic accounting principles

PC Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010, Office 365
  • Strong Knowledge with Microsoft D365
