Responsible for Enterprise Projects, Third-Party Tools, and Custom Software Integrations. Manages multiple initiatives, negotiates with senior staff, understands complex technology, provides direction to staff, and has a strong problem-solving aptitude while delivering solutions.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Advises best practices, conducts code reviews, provides training, and supports the team as needed.

  • Works with business units to map business processes; aligns technology solutions with short and long-term business strategies.

  • Designs, codes, tests and deploys Salesforce solutions.

  • Designs and builds highly scalable business application solutions leveraging Salesforce Lightning.

  • Develops Visualforce pages and Sites for both desktop and mobile users.

  • Hands on design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform including work in Apex, Visualforce and application integration.

  • Leverages experience in RESTful and SOAP web services, including Salesforce APIs, to integrate Salesforce with other third party applications and enterprise systems.

  • Leverages knowledge of tools and best practices for development and deployment of enterprise applications, including source code management, code review/optimization, and unit testing.

  • Defines and completes user stories; configures solutions to meet user story requirements and best practices.

  • Documents processes and systems, including integrations and 3rd party systems used in conjunction with Salesforce.

  • Creates tests to ensure the quality of solutions; works with other service team members and business units to execute quality checks.

  • Performs data analysis including cleaning, transforming, and modeling data; designs data reporting solutions to meet business needs.

  • Provides technical support for end users and document issues.

  • Evaluates and follows through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated.

  • Documents and evaluates issue patterns to plan and recommend process and system improvements.

  • Understands technology trends and vendor product roadmaps to determine how they best fit the demands/requests of customers and how delivered functionality can be best leveraged.

EDUCATION - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable qualifications

EDUCATION - FIELD(S)/PROFESSION(S)

  • Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • A minimum of eight years' knowledge and work experience on the Salesforce Platform: Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Communities, Force.com and App Exchange.

  • Solid Object Oriented design skills and experience with design patterns to ensure system scalability

  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical business partners effectively

  • Strong Salesforce Admin background in the following areas:

  • Sharing Rules, Object Permissions, Permissions sets, User roles, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Approval Processes, Reports, Dashboards, Web to Lead, Lightning App Builder

  • Strong Salesforce Development background in the following areas:

  • Visualforce (Apex, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Apex (Test Classes, Classes, Triggers, Web Services & API's)

  • Proficiency in SFDC development environment including Force.com IDE, Migration Tools, SOSL & SOQL

  • Bulkifying Code

  • Sandbox management (including full sandbox)

  • App Development background in the following areas:

  • Lightning Components

  • Custom Sites

  • Experience working with RESTful and SOAP web services

  • Object Oriented concepts and experience with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++)

  • Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

  • Proficient in SFDC technologies including configuration, custom development, and integrations.

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this position is ($110,000 - $140,000), inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
