The RoleAspenTech is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst focusing on partner sales data analysis and reporting for the Global Sales Operations group. This position is located in Bedford, MA.
As a business partner to the AspenTech indirect team, this individual will create and maintain tools and processes which add value by increasing channel sales performance. This includes the coordination with back office functions and departments including Finance, Indirect Sales Operations, Services, Customer Success, Product Marketing and Marketing.
Provide detailed and accurate reporting to the Sales and Indirect management team
Demonstrate attention to detail, quality, accuracy and timeliness of standard reporting
Deliver periodic reporting and analysis on Sales KPIs for Management reporting
Partner performance management reporting (tracking to partner business plans).
Responsible for CRM Data integrity of Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Territory, etc.
Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers to resolve problems; display commitment to achieving team goals by exhibiting adaptability and reliability
Ability to gain understanding of customers and customer issues to propose effective solutions
Perform complex ad hoc analysis as required in support of Sales Organization, particularly partner sales
Help drive initiatives to gather and report sales metrics.
What You'll Need
5-8 years of experience within a sales analysis role required
Experience with a Sales CRM system, specifically SalesForce
Organizational skills and change management for working with large quantities of data.
Ability to automate tasks in Excel using VBA macros a plus. Microsoft Access experience a plus.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to serve the diverse needs of the global sales operations team.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
Professional presence and demeanor required
Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
Bachelor's Degree required
