About the Role

As a Sr. Sales Business Systems Analyst within Sales Operations, you will support Workday's GTM and sales execution strategy. You will be the lead conduit between Sales Leadership and IT/IS to ensure systems projects and initiatives are executed at high quality and on time.

In collaboration with Workmates from the broader Sales Systems, Enablement and Operations teams, your primary charter will be to support and enable Workday's field sales leaders to drive the future state of Workday's sales systems portfolio and process. You will lead the execution of the roadmap of projects and system initiatives that align with Workday's sales strategy.

About You

  • You have 5+ years experience as a Systems Analyst in a high-growth software company, ideally supporting a sales organization

  • You have B2B analyst experience in the enterprise market space, ideally

  • You have worked directly with Sales, Sales Operations, and Field Sales Leaders to gather, document and translate goals and objectives into processes that align with Workday's sales business practices

  • You are an advanced/intermediate Microsoft excel user, and have experience in a variety of business applications

  • You've managed projects such as system enhancements, software evaluations, and implementations in conjunction with IT, and can independently troubleshoot sales systems related issues

  • You are comfortable leading training for new systems, including sales enablement sessions for new hires and User Acceptance testing

  • You have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and initiatives in varying size and scope simultaneously

  • You are highly self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • You are an excellent communicator, boasting excellent verbal and written communication skills

As a Sr. Sales Systems Business Analyst, you will work with an array of applications to optimize the Sales Systems portfolio. The ideal be familiar with various sales enablement and effectiveness tools and applications, including:

  • Sales Enablement Applications such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, InsideSales

  • Sales Analytics and Content Applications such as C9 Forecasting, Tableau, Highspot, Seismic, and custom features in Salesforce.com.

  • Sales Research and Data Applications, like Data.com, D&B, and external data sources.

  • Sales Administration Applications such as Salesforce.com, APTTUS (Pricing & Contracts), and Workday HR & Financials

A strong base knowledge of supply chain systems and operational processes and the financial impacts of these transactions are key to success in this position.
