Brief Overview of Position
Reporting to the Head of the Lender Finance Group, this relationship-driven role will partner across the bank and be accountable for building the Consumer Lender Finance industry vertical focused on middle market and corporate non-bank finance companies across the US, more specifically, that lend to consumers. Key focus will be on sourcing opportunities and driving execution against established financial goals, maintaining and building new strategic client relationships, and acting as a subject matter expert across the bank, while effectively identifying and managing risk for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Using your expertise within the Consumer Finance sector, support the go to market strategy, product suite, and identify KPI for the unit
Recruit, develop, mentor and manage junior banking professionals
Drive sourcing of new prospects; support origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution; Identify changes in the market and new opportunities
Drive strategic relationships through effective calling, pitches, & internal coordination
Be the voice of our clients; identify key areas of focus to streamline, simplify and innovate with technology, products, and processes to optimize the client experience.
Collaborate and connect with TCB product and other functional partners to ensure appropriate client and prospect coverage and deliver banking solutions to deepen existing relationships and accelerate new client acquisition
Protect the bank by proactively identifying and managing risk in all business activities; constructively elevate issues early and often

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field/experience
Minimum of 10 years of commercial banking experience or equivalent private credit experience
Strong understanding of lending principles, financial analysis, and risk management.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and make sound lending decisions.
Demonstrable expertise in lending to or providing advisory service to Consumer Credit/Finance sector with a specific focus on direct and point of sale clients within the consumer lending or commercial lending sectors.
Results-oriented with demonstrated business origination/sales experience, well-developed business connections, and strong track record of delivering against business unit and company goals
Key Subject Matter Expert in the Consumer Lending/Lender Finance industry and ability to translate knowledge into strategic dialogue, value added ideas, and lead roles.
Client-focused: acts with integrity and empathy, manages, meets, and exceeds client expectations - delivers personalization and puts in the time and effort
Thought leader - high competence in areas of expertise and ability to offer creative solutions to clients
Highly collaborative, effectively working across multiple peer, partner, and stakeholder groups to drive the right solutions and most appropriate coverage model for our clients based on their needs.
Strong financial acumen to ensure sound judgement when making business decisions and understanding the impact decisions have on the financial health of the business unit and the bank.
Demonstrated best practices using Salesforce to plan and drive accountability and results
